a student-led period care social enterprise
PERIOD EQUALITY TOGETHER

THE STORY OF PERIOD EQUALITY TOGETHER
Period Equality Together (PET) is a period care subscription service in the form of a social enterprise. PET was launched by Chirstiane Gontarek with the objective to fight period poverty after recognising 1 in 10 girls in the UK cannot afford period products, missing school regularly.

Delivering eco-friendly period products and self care items monthly to student subscribers, all profits raised are donated to Bloody Good Period. In partnership with Freda, we educate our subscribers on plastic free periods to ensure a positive impact on the environment, whilst keeping our products affordable.
In our first year, we have managed to raise over £1,172 to support 600 refugees, asylum seekers and vulnerable menstruators. Sign up and stay tuned for our future expansion in September!
